Mission Trip to Kenya – October 2024

Written by Christine Greyling – April 2025

In October 2024, our team returned to Kenya, eager to reconnect with communities and continue the work we started. We arrived on October 24th, spending two weeks between Kisii and Nairobi—a time filled with ministry, relationship-building, and hands-on service.

Building Kingdom Partnerships in Kisii

One of the most meaningful parts of this trip was our time at Light to Life Church in Mosocho, a community that not only serves as a place of worship but also runs an orphanage. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and open hearts.

We spent time teaching, training, and prophesying, encouraging both church leaders and members as they continue their faith journey. Joining us was Shamon from Durban, whose prayers and ministry added another layer of support for the congregation.

Our time in Kisii was the beginning of something much bigger. We established strong Kingdom partnerships, committing to work together to expand the reach of the Gospel—not just locally, but across bordering countries as well.

Launching E2E Training in Nairobi

Our time in Nairobi was just as significant. Here, we introduced Part 1 of the E2E program, an initiative built on the belief that everyone has a role to play in sharing God’s love and salvation.

E2E, or End to End, represents a commitment to taking the Gospel to every corner of the earth. Through this network, we equip men and women from all backgrounds to become effective evangelists, prepared to serve in their communities and beyond. The pilot training was a success, reinforcing our vision to mobilize and empower believers for greater impact.

One of the most exciting moments of this trip was launching a sustainable giving initiative for Light to Life Church and their orphanage. We helped build a car wash, creating a way for older teenagers to earn money after school and on weekends

This project wasn’t just about financial support—it was about equipping young people with skills, responsibility, and hope for the future. The income from the car wash now helps fund the church’s efforts and ensures that the orphanage has resources to care for the children. Seeing this initiative come to life was a powerful reminder that ministry isn’t just about preaching—it’s about creating lasting change.

Looking Ahead

The connections we built, the training we launched, and the sustainable projects we established are just the beginning. As we move forward, we’re committed to strengthening these partnerships, expanding the E2E program, and continuing to find ways to spread the gospel, make disciples and support communities
